I was lucky enough to get together with a bunch of people I went to high school with over the holidays. In an odd twist, I wasn't really friends with any of them in high school. It seems wierd to some people but somehow for us, it seems completely normal. I am not sure if it is that we went to high school so far away and that we don't get to see old friends that we will relish in seeing anyone from that time in our life. Some think that our high school was so special in a way that it created these bonds that seem to over come anything else. All I know was that I was a little nervous going in, I am not that great at socializing when I don't know everyone and I had a great time!
