We are soooo lucky that 2 of the families that we traveled to Ethiopia live in the D.C. area. We had a great pool party with them. It takes the kids awhile to warm up to each other but by the end they are usually having fun!

When we had our webinar from our adoption agency about our trip, they said that the people you travel with will be in your lives for a long time, kind of like new family. We truly feel blessed that we get to see these families year in and year out and keep those connections for the kids and for us. They are the only people in the world who were there on those days in Ethiopia and for us were such a wonderful support.
