I realize I am a little late...just the way it goes. We love going to the Harrisburg 4th of July parade in Harrisburg, NC. They throw candy, necklaces, junk, and it is crazy fun.

Terefech loved this truck...why? A penguin of course.
After the parade, we pooled it, had a cookout and then, before fireworks, we had a watermelon seed spitting contest. Thankfully one of our members was a seasoned seed spitter and taught all the kids how to do it. Terefech became quite the expert.
The kid had so much fun. We also had a watermelon estimation contest, how long and how far around. Declan hit it right on the head for both of them. Amazing!
