Dave's parents, Ed and Elaine, live in Annapolis and have a great place and boat. They hosted us for the afternoon/evening and we had a great time. We started out our trip with a stop at a USAA ATM. For those of you that don't know, USAA is a bank for military members and their family members but it doesn't really have a brick and mortar bank. So, too much fun for us to use an actual USAA machine!
We spent a bit of time at the Naval Academy. After having a wonderful couple of days in cool D.C., the weather turned beastly hot. So, our outside time was short!
Being Army brats, we took this picture under duress.
Alex Hailey statue in Annapolis.
The Maryland State House where George Washington resigned his commission so that he could be president of the U.S.
Just had to take this one cause we went to high school with Ron George.
Out on Bay Ranger...
Cool seeing the Naval Academy students piloting the ships.
Terefech and Elaine have become pen pals (Declan writes occasionally but is not as dedicated)!
This guy kept waving at us as we came back into the harbor. We thought he was overly friendly. Evidently, it was Dave.
Terefech got the gift of a doll made by Elaine...The doll's name is Elaine.
Wait is that the same doll? This doll's name is Anna for Annapolis.
